UPDATE 01/12/2013: Anniversary Edition is now available!
DOWNLOAD RCRN AE Build 2.1.4

We are proud to announce that RCRN Anniversary Edition will be released as “final” version the next weekend. This date has been picked for a couple of reasons, first, on the next saturday RCRN turns 2 years old, so this release is also a great way to celebrate it. Secondly the Thanksgiving vacation will provide our (US based) users some more free time to check all the new features. Additionally, the Black Friday sales frenzy may provide the opportunity to grab some cool and cheap hardware upgrade, and if so, why not test it with some relaxing Skyrim gameplay experience together with the fresh new RCRN version installed?

RCRN Anniversary Edition will be released both on our website and Skyrim Nexus. The Steam Workshop version will not be available at this date, because of the Workshop file limitations, so our Workshop users will stick with v3.6 until we find a solution.

If you haven’t checked our Beta releases yet, you can check this article, in order to know some of the features that will be available in the Final version.

If you already opted-in for our Beta program by downloading at least one Beta release, we have some news for you too!
From now on to the Final release, scheduled for the next week, all the Beta versions that will be released, are marked as “Stealth” releases. What’s the difference?
The difference is that they will not be available for direct download, since the Beta page will be disabled, so you must have a previous Beta version already installed, and then you will be able to obtain the “Stealth” releases automatically through our built-in Auto-Updater.

This is meant to be as an exclusive feature for our fellow Beta Testers, who helped us a lot during the Anniversary Edition development, and it is basically an early access to some of the features and bugfixes that will be available in the Final version.

Beta 2.1.2 will be the first one of those “Stealth” releases, and we will drop it during the next 24 hours.

I take the occasion to say ‘thank you’ to all the RCRN staff for the hard and great work during the last year, and to all the users who followed us during this long span of time fulfilling our brains with good suggestions and our hearts with warm words.

Note that we also have updated our Forum board’s badge system with a couple of new coins, related to the Beta stages, you can read more here. Keep in mind that you will be able to claim one only once the AE Final is released!

Have a nice weekend!

Hello, I want to congratulate you for your work great qualities RCRN has become essential for me, I modded skyrim according to him.
But I have two years tested lots of mods weather and lights among the most popular on nexus and also some ENB and it's yours by far has the best record.
Even though I did not get much involved in the evolution of the beta, my knowledge is limited in modding and I did not find much to complain about.
I am sure will be a great success RCRN on nexus and thank you.
    Sorry for my english.
